Founder, President and CEO of Global Relief Technologies, Inc.. From 2001 to 2003 Michael Gray served as a US State Department advisor to US Central Command and General Tommy Franks regarding humanitarian and reconstruction operations. Prior to his assignment at US Central Command, beginning in 1998, Mr. Gray served as a US State Department refugee coordination officer in various conflict stricken areas such as Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania. In 1999 he also served as a US Naval Reserve officer on the policy and planning staff of Sir Lt. General Michael Jackson in Kosovo.
from 1995-1997, Mr. Gray was a Program Director for the US Department of Justice's Criminal Justice Assistance Program for Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
>From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Gray was an Associate Director of the American Bar Association's Central and Eastern European Law Initiative. Mr. Gray implemented the ABA's and the US State Department's rule of law assistance to the countries of the former Soviet Union. From 1990 to 1992 Mr. Gray was a Senior Associate of Creditanstalt Bank Austria's Trade Finance Consulting for the US. From 1989 to 1992 e
he served as the Executive Editor of the Washington, DC based publication Business Opportunities in Eastern Europe. He established and managed a network of over twenty staff reporters in eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. He was instrumental in Creditanstalt Bank Austria's acquisition of the publication in 1990. Michael gray currently resides with his wife in Kennebunk, Maine.
